WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LOOK LIKE?

I have been photographing since I was ten years of age. My first photographs were self-portraits. I learned early on the importance of photographs to represent who you truly are. A photograph is the most honest expression of a human being. I work with artists, musicians, dancers, business owners to help reflect themselves to the world in the best light possible. For that reason, I choose my clients very carefully, and only shoot 4 clients a month.

THE PROCESS

- 30-minute free consultation call to discuss the vision.
- Brainstorm potential locations, best times to shoot, outfits, etc.
- Exchange ideas on a mood board. $295 non-refundable retainer to lock in a date.

- Meet at location, get comfortable and start shooting. (Sometimes, the situation on the day of the shoot requires us to change some ideas or even the entire concept, in which case we go with the flow and do what feels natural! Creativity is primarily a feminine process, and the importance of letting go if the moment demands is quite important to bring out the best possible outcome.)

- Receive an online gallery of all images taken at the shoot, to browse through and pick favorites.
- Once you’ve marked your favorites (with the option of adding notes to each), receive the retouched images within 2-3 days.

CONNECTING WITH SELF

I often have clients who get a photoshoot with me because they want to connect with themselves.

Some have gorgeous outfits they haven’t worn in ages, some have unlived life they have buried, some simply want to feel GOOD. We discuss a vision, the direction in which they want to take their lives, and from there, we create a whole concept. It’s as powerful as a visualization technique.

A photoshoot is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself. The entire process, from visualization to creating mood boards and receiving the final photographs is one big celebration of YOU and your life-journey/milestones/future to come. It does wonders to one’s self-image.
