I’m Sej Saraiya, a professional photographer and visual artist based in Topanga, California. I picked up a camera when I was 10 years old, and photography has been my craft ever since.
Since 2014, I’ve photographed His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Indigenous leaders, artists, humanitarians, entrepreneurs, and changemakers around the world. My work has been featured in ELLE, Deadline, USA Today, Hindustan Times, LA Yoga Magazine, and Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, and exhibited internationally (Paris, London, Athens, Los Angeles, New York, India, and so on).
My mission is to help people feel seen, beautiful, confident, and fully themselves through photographs.
With more than 15 years of experience in photography and visual storytelling, I price my work based on the full creative process required to produce a polished body of images: from our initial meeting and mood board, through production and the shoot itself, to culling, retouching, and final delivery.
My photography packages typically begin at $1,200 and can range up to $10,000, depending on the scope of the project.
However, in support of a deeply meaningful life project, I’m opening a limited opportunity through October 10, 2026 to purchase a photography experience with me on a sliding-scale basis, from $250–$5,000.
Each contribution level includes suggestions for what your session could potentially include, but the spirit of this offering is simple: choose the level that feels aligned with what you need, what you can contribute, and the kind of creative experience you’d like to have.
