Creativity & Consciousness was an interdisciplinary cultural event exploring the relationship between artistic practice, inner life, and human creativity through conversation, music, and shared dialogue. The gathering brought together filmmakers, musicians, artists, and cultural figures for an evening centered on the role of consciousness and presence within contemporary creative work.

As Curator and Producer, Sej Saraiya conceived and developed the event, shaping both its thematic direction and overall guest experience. Her role included speaker and participant coordination, program development, creative direction, venue production, atmosphere design, and event execution.

The event featured internationally recognized humanitarian and spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar alongside members of the Los Angeles creative community, creating a rare interdisciplinary dialogue between art, storytelling, philosophy, and lived creative process.

The evening emphasized meaningful cultural exchange over traditional industry networking, fostering conversations around creativity, awareness, and artistic responsibility across disciplines.

World Culture Festival Benefit Gala

The World Culture Festival Benefit Gala was a large-scale cultural fundraising event organized in advance of the World Culture Festival in Washington, D.C., an international gathering celebrating global culture, music, and human connection.

As Producer and Curator, Sej Saraiya led the creative and logistical development of the evening from concept through execution. Her role included event vision, guest and table curation, artistic programming, venue experience design, production oversight, atmosphere development, and coordination across hospitality, performance, and donor engagement.

The event brought together artists, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders for an immersive evening designed to support global cultural programming and community initiatives connected to the World Culture Festival.

The gala successfully raised approximately $600,000 in support of the broader festival initiative.

The event reflected Saraiya’s interdisciplinary approach to cultural production, combining artistic sensibility, storytelling, hospitality, and community-building to create meaningful shared experiences rooted in culture and human connection.
